Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: March 8th, 2021

We are now less than a week away from Impact's next big show, and it's shaping up to be a good one. Already booked for the show are some big matches, including a headliner between the company's two World Champions. Survivor Series, eat your heart out. Here's how the company is looking heading into the go-home episode of Impact. Men: 1. Moose (Last Week: 1, Weeks in Rankings: 3, Peak: 1): Neither Moose nor Rich Swann had a match on this week's show, but we should see them next week before Sacrifice.  2. Rich Swann (Last Week: 2, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 2): Swann got a vignette hyping him up and his accomplishments thus far.  3. Ace Austin (Last Week: 4, Weeks in Rankings: 3, Peak: 3): I was a big fan of the opening three-way match that featured Austin, Black Taurus, and Chris Bey. Austin picked up the win and is now the #1 Contender for the X-Division Championship.  4. TJP (Last Week: 4, Weeks in Rankings: 3, Peak: 3): TJP slips a spot after a second straight we...

Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: March 1st, 2021

I am just as pleasantly surprised as you are that I made it to Week 2 of this new endeavor. For the first time, we will be looking at a non-PPV week. Instead, the changes in this week's rankings are based on the latest episode of Impact. Let's get started.  Men: 1. Moose (Last Week: 1, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 1): Last week, I wrote that Moose was the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Now, not only is Moose recognized as an official World Champion, but he successfully defended the title against Jake Something.  2. Rich Swann (Last Week: 2, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 2): It was announced on Impact that Swann would be defending his Impact World title against Moose at Sacrifice on March 13th. These two men have been on fire recently, and I'm excited for this match.  3. TJP (Last Week: 3, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 3): I can't tell what match I would rather see: TJP vs. Black Tauros or TJP vs. Ace Austin.  4. Ace Austin (Last Week: 5, Weeks in Ra...

Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Feb. 22nd, 2021

Guess who's back, back again. I don't know what it is, but for some reason, I'm back with some power rankings. What can I say, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. This time, we're going to try something a little different. Here, we'll be focusing solely on Impact Wrestling and breaking down the rankings into three divisions: men's, knockouts, and tag teams. Let's get started.  Men: 1. Moose (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 1): The self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion was the man standing tall at the end of No Surrender. His upcoming title match with Rich Swann has been built up well and should be an easy MOTN contender. 2. Rich Swann (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 2): Swann successfully defended the World title against Tommy Dreamer in the main event of No Surrender, but it was a forgettable match that existed solely as a stopgap feud.  3. TJP (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 3): TJP had two great title defe...
