Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Feb. 22nd, 2021
Guess who's back, back again. I don't know what it is, but for some reason, I'm back with some power rankings. What can I say, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. This time, we're going to try something a little different. Here, we'll be focusing solely on Impact Wrestling and breaking down the rankings into three divisions: men's, knockouts, and tag teams. Let's get started.
Men:
1. Moose (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 1): The self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion was the man standing tall at the end of No Surrender. His upcoming title match with Rich Swann has been built up well and should be an easy MOTN contender.
2. Rich Swann (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 2): Swann successfully defended the World title against Tommy Dreamer in the main event of No Surrender, but it was a forgettable match that existed solely as a stopgap feud.
3. TJP (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 3): TJP had two great title defenses last week: one against Rohit Raju on PPV and another against Josh Alexander on Impact.
4. Brian Myers (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 4): Myers teamed up with Hernandez for a tag team win against Matt Cardona and Eddie Edwards at No Surrender.
5. Ace Austin (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 5): The 2021 Super X-Cup Winner has a chance over the next two weeks to be the next #1 Contender for the X-Division Championship.
Knockouts:
1. Deonna Purrazzo (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 1): She may have come up short in a six-Knockout tag team match on Saturday, but she is still the Knockouts Champion.
2. Tenille Dashwood (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 2): After a win against Nevaeh on TV, we could see the former Emma form a tag team with Havok.
3. Jordynne Grace (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 3): Grace was on the winning side of that aforementioned tag match at No Surrender.
4. Alisha Edwards (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 4): The only time we saw Alisha last week was in a couple of backstage segments.
5. Havok (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 5): If her tag team with Neveah is really coming to an end, I would love to see Havok challenge for the Knockouts Championship. It's been too long since she first held the title.
Tag Teams:
1. The Good Brothers (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 1): After a successful defense at No Surrender, it looks like Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows are entering a program with FinJuice.
2. Fire 'N Flava (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 2): The current Knockouts Tag Team Champions had an impressive showing in their successful title defense against Havok & Neveah at No Surrender.
3. FinJuice (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 3): Is there a hotter tag team in Impact right now? They may have only had one match thus far, but that was enough to get the internet buzzing.
4. Decay (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 4): Decay opened up No Surrender by beating the team of XXXL & Tenille Dashwood.
5. Violent By Design (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 5): Although Deaner did fall short against Jake Something at the PPV, the trio beat down Something after the match.
Thanks for reading everyone.
