Future Triple Crown Champions

In baseball, getting a triple crown means a player has led the league in batting average, home runs, and runs batted in over a season. It is an incredibly rare feat, and has only been done 17 times. In horse racing, a horse wins the Triple Crown if they win the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes in the same year. Only 11 horses have ever done it. Even in the WWE, winning a Triple Crown is a prestigious honor. It meant that a superstar had captured a world championship, a tag team championship, and the Intercontinental Championship. To this day only 25 superstars have ever achieved this. Those superstars (in chronological order) are Pedro Morales, Bret Hart, Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Kane, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Ric Flair, Edge, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, JBL, Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Big Show, and The Miz. Raw Review: 4/21/14

This week's RAW was definitely a big one. Matches for Extreme Rules were made, storylines were furthered, and vicious beatdowns were delivered. This was one Raw that you had to watch. In this article, we'll look at some of the storylines from yesterday's show, as well as how they could be further developed. But before we go much further, I'd like to offer my condolences to Daniel Bryan, whose father passed away recently. Speaking of Daniel Bryan, we learned his opponent at Extreme Rules: Kane. This was done to write Bryan off TV for some time due to his father's death. In fact, we many not see him until the Extreme Rules special event. Until then, Kane will probably be destroying competitors such as Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, and Dolph Ziggler. We may even see a match ...

WWE: What to Look For in the Rest of 2014

Make no mistake about it: WrestleMania is the highlight of the year for sports entertainment. But that happens in April, and there's eight months after that. So the question is: what next? What can we expect for the rest of the year? This article will look at some things we can expect, as well as some superstars who are expected to be major players. One interesting development has been the return of Evolution. At their height, this faction was made up of four future hall-of-famers and made a huge impact. Now, the group is sans Ric Flair and noticeably different. Batista and Randy Orton are no longer hot commodities and Triple H is only a part-time performer. Furthermore, after their match with The Shield at Extreme Rules, Batista is expected to take some time off. Taking all of this into consideration, it's understandably a little difficult to see Evolution returning to their former status. At best, the group has a noticeable impact and Batista and Orton become tag team champ...
