Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: March 1st, 2021

I am just as pleasantly surprised as you are that I made it to Week 2 of this new endeavor. For the first time, we will be looking at a non-PPV week. Instead, the changes in this week's rankings are based on the latest episode of Impact. Let's get started.

Men:

1. Moose (Last Week: 1, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 1): Last week, I wrote that Moose was the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Now, not only is Moose recognized as an official World Champion, but he successfully defended the title against Jake Something.

2. Rich Swann (Last Week: 2, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 2): It was announced on Impact that Swann would be defending his Impact World title against Moose at Sacrifice on March 13th. These two men have been on fire recently, and I'm excited for this match.

3. TJP (Last Week: 3, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 3): I can't tell what match I would rather see: TJP vs. Black Tauros or TJP vs. Ace Austin.

4. Ace Austin (Last Week: 5, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 4): The only two men standing in between Austin and a shot at the X-Division Championship are Chris Bey and Black Taurus.

5. Brian Myers (Last Week: 5, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 4): After backing out of a singles match against Eddie Edwards, Myers watched the Boston native defeat Hernandez. We will see Myers and Edwards clash next week on Impact.

Knockouts:

1. Deonna Purrazzo (Last Week: 1, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 1): Though she didn't wrestle this week, the former NXT star is still the Knockouts Champion.

2. Tenille Dashwood (Last Week: 2, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 2): Dashwood and Kaleb with a K were unsuccessful in trying to recruit Havok to their side.

3. Jordynne Grace (Last Week: 3, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 3): I feel like I should take Grace out of the singles rankings soon, as it looks like she is currently focused on the Knockouts Tag Team titles.

4. Havok (Last Week: 5, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 4): With her tag team with Neveah up in the air, we could see Havok generate some steam as a singles competitor in the next few weeks.

5. Alisha Edwards (Last Week: 4, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 4): Edwards was nowhere to be seen this week.

Tag Teams:

1. The Good Brothers (Last Week: 1, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 1): Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows defeated XXXL in the show's only proper tag match.

2. Fire 'N Flava (Last Week: 2, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 2): We now know the next challengers for Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz: Jordynne Grace & Jazz.

3. Decay (Last Week: 3, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 3): Thanks to his being on the winning side of a six-man tag, Black Tauros has a chance to become #1 Contender for the X-Division Championship.

3. FinJuice (Last Week: 3, Weeks in Rankings: 2, Peak: 3): While David Finlay & Juice Robinson didn't wrestle on last week's show, they did show up in a backstage segment.

5. Jordynne Grace & Jazz (Last Week: NR, Weeks in Rankings: 1, Peak: 5): The powerful duo knocked off Susan & Kimber Lee to become #1 Contenders for the Knockouts Tag Team titles.

Thanks for reading everyone.
